x402-sms ("the service") is part of the tollkit.dev family of developer tools. This Privacy Policy describes how the service handles personal information.
When you opt in to receive SMS messages at /optin, we collect:
When a developer using the platform sends a message to your phone number via the API, we log message metadata: recipient phone number, sender (toll-free), Twilio message SID, delivery status, and buyer wallet address. We do not store or persist the body content of messages.
Phone numbers are used solely to deliver transactional SMS messages that developers using the platform trigger to your number. We do not use phone numbers for marketing, do not sell them, and do not share them with third parties except as described below.
We share your phone number with Twilio Inc., our SMS infrastructure provider, for the sole purpose of delivering SMS messages you have opted in to receive. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
SMS opt-in data and consent records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell information.
Opt-in records are retained for the duration of your subscription. STOP / opt-out records are retained indefinitely to honor opt-outs across future developer requests. Message metadata logs are retained for 90 days for audit and compliance purposes, then deleted.
